Insurance Support

Insurance Claim Documentation

All Coast Marine provides objective vessel inspection and documentation services for insurance carriers, independent adjusters, claims representatives, attorneys, repair facilities, and vessel owners.

Reports are prepared to assist with claim evaluation by documenting observed damage, vessel condition, areas inspected, inspection limitations, supporting photographs, repair considerations, and findings that may be relevant to the reported loss.

Independence Notice

The surveyor does not prepare reports to support a predetermined claim position. Findings represent observed conditions. Payment source does not influence report content, opinions, or conclusions.

Technical Documentation

Cause & Origin Documentation

All Coast can document observed damage patterns, likely points of failure where supportable, vessel systems involved, and whether conditions appear consistent with the reported event.

Opinions are limited by access, available evidence, and the scope of inspection. All Coast does not overstate conclusions beyond what the physical evidence and inspection findings support.

  • Observed damage pattern documentation
  • Likely points of failure where supportable
  • Vessel systems involved in the event
  • Consistency with reported loss event
  • Opinions limited to supportable inspection evidence

Key Technical Differentiator

Infrared Thermography

Certified infrared thermal imaging is a significant technical differentiator in marine casualty and damage inspection. Thermal imaging can reveal conditions not visible during a standard visual inspection — supporting post-loss documentation, electrical investigation, and hull and deck evaluation.

Applications Include:

  • Electrical hot spots and overloaded circuits
  • Moisture intrusion indicators in hull and deck cores
  • Hull and deck laminate anomalies
  • Post-loss water intrusion documentation
  • Machinery and electrical investigation support
  • Air-conditioning and system anomalies

Important — Scope of Thermographic Findings

Infrared imaging is not a stand-alone conclusion. Thermographic findings are interpreted in context with visual inspection, moisture readings, system operation, environmental conditions, and other available evidence. IR findings are indicators that may require confirmation, testing, disassembly, or specialist review.
