Travel outside the local service area is billed in addition to survey fees.

Payment required before report release.

New Insurance / Adjuster Client

Retainer or payment required before report release.

Established Insurance / Adjuster Client

Net 15 or Net 30 by invoice, subject to approved terms.

Attorney / Litigation Client

Retainer required before commencement of work.

Rush Assignment

Deposit required at time of assignment.

Fee Independence Notice

Fees are due according to the written agreement for the assignment. Insurance, adjuster, attorney, and corporate assignments may be billed by invoice subject to approved terms. Reports, opinions, and findings are not influenced by payment source or claim position.

What Affects the Final Fee

Final survey fees are quoted by assignment. The following factors may affect the total cost of an assignment:

Vessel Size

Length, displacement, and complexity of the vessel.

Location & Access

Haul-out facility, marina, travel required, and access conditions.

Scope of Work

Number of systems inspected, extent of damage, and required documentation.

Reporting Requirements

Complexity of written report, number of photographs, and supporting exhibits.

Urgency / Rush

Rush assignments carry a 25%–50% surcharge and require a deposit.

Claim / Litigation Involvement

Assignments involving active claims or litigation may be quoted at elevated rates.
